So the fires are getting under control, and all my classes were canceled for the week. Things were set up perfectly for birthday hijinks with Bogey.
Then my voice teacher calls and is all "we're missing a week because of this, so you need to do a lesson outside school to keep things on track". She did a little song and dance with me about what days I would be available before flat out saying that the only day and time this can actually happen is the same as my Disney trip. Of course. I'm gonna guilt her major about screwing me out of my birthday when I show up for the lesson.
Someday I'll get that top 10 spot.
